About
Who I am
My name is Jacob Fernandez, and I’m an artist based in Heber City, Utah. My work is inspired by the people, places, and experiences that shape my perspective. To me, art is more than visual expression. It’s a way to feed both the ego and the soul, communicate individuality, and create something truly unique.
Where I started
My passion for art began at the age of four, when my dad complimented a drawing I had made of a horse. That moment helped spark a lifelong connection to creativity. Throughout school, art was what inspired me most. I often found myself drawing rather than focusing on my schoolwork.
In my early years, I primarily drew animals. As my interests evolved, I began exploring darker, gothic styles. In my twenties, I started painting, and in my thirties, I developed skills in airbrushing and pinstriping. By my forties, I had returned to my artistic roots, painting horses once again. This renewed connection to my early inspiration also led me to begin creating murals.
Where I plan to be
My goal is to become a full-time artist and establish a recognizable presence in the art community. More importantly, I want my work to evoke emotion and leave a lasting impression on the people who experience it.
I hope to inspire others to pursue the art they love and explore their own creativity. For me, art is a continuous journey of discovery. Every time I pick up a brush, there is something new to learn, create, and share.
